Tama-Do Academy offers a two-year Professional Certification Training Program in Sound Healing, Color Therapy, Tao Yin Fa Qi Gong Chi Movement® (Level I) and Initiatique Teachings of the Light (Level II).
Our Professional Certification Training Program consists of Level I (126 hours), Level II Training (84 hours), Practice Protocol including 50 Practice sessions, and a Level I Review and Test.
We are certified with NCCAOM for PDAs. (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)
We offer trainings for practitioners as well as those who just wish to be more “in-tune” with cosmic frequencies. Previous energy experience is recommended.

Level I is a series of 9 Courses in Sound Healing, Color Therapy and Chi Movement® (Level I) plus a Level I Review.
All Tama-Do Level I Sound Healing and Tao Yin Fa Qi Gong® techniques have been created by FABIEN MAMAN, the founding father of vibrational sound therapy (Websters’ Dictionary). Fabien Maman’s evolutionary body of work ~ spanning more than 40 years and grounded in his sound/cellular research, as well as the Classical traditions of music theory, sacred geometry, Chinese medicine, aikido, Kototama, astrology and esoteric philosophy ~ changed the landscape of vibrational sound healing as we know it today.
Fabien Maman is the one who created the now famous technique using tuning forks and color light on acupuncture points for healing. His book, THE TAO OF SOUND, written with Terres Unsoeld, is the quintessential reference book for sound healing.
All Tama-Do Level I Color Therapy techniques follow the lineage of Color Masters Vicky Wall, Patricia Janusz, and Terres Unsoeld, spiritual healer of Tama-Do. Terres Unsoeld's classic book, ACCESSING THE WAY OF THE SOUL THROUGH COLOR helped to elevate the world of color therapy beyond the psychological and to a higher Spiritual perspective. After her book was published in 2007, people in New York City and Paris started wearing pink!
Level I Intensives are taught by Master Teacher TERRES UNSOELD, who was initiated by Fabien Maman 20 years ago, to develop the Levels I, II and III teachings into what they have become today. She has been Tama-Do Academy's Level I Teacher for more than 20 years, and is the creator of a new paradigm of healing ~ Shamanism of the Light ~ upon which Tama- Do Academy is now based. This is a foundational overview of the teachings of Tama-Do Academy, the Way of the Soul to the Light. We follow a journey of incarnation ~ from Star to Cell, and learn how the 9 Tama-Do Level I Techniques of Sound, Color and Movement® help to ground and express the Light of our Soul in the daily life.
We learn that Tama-Do works on 8 Levels of consciousness in the aura, and that the school follows a precise paradigm of healing. We experience Fabien Maman's precise sound protocols for the elements, organs, chakras and subtle bodies, described in his book, THE TAO OF SOUND, which tangibly illustrate the power of sound. We see Fabien Maman's amazing color slides of his sound/cellular experiment, which remind us that the Light in our cells mirror the Light of the Divine when activated by Sound, Color and Chi Movement®.
We learn about Terres Unsoeld's Shamanism of the Light, a new paradigm of healing, based on Energy Work, Spiritual Practice and Self Knowledge, upon which Tama-Do Academy is now based. We watch Terres Unsoeld's movie, BIRTH, A Noble Hero's Journey to the Light®, (the 1st of 8 movies) which wakes us up to the wonderful gift of being alive in the Light ! In 1981, French musician/composer and acupuncturist FABIEN MAMAN conducted a revolutionary sound/cellular experiment that changed the landscape of vibrational sound healing as we know it today (see THE TAO OF SOUND). For the next 40 years, he created precise sound protocols to harmonize the organs, chakras, subtle energy fields with the seasons, directions and stars.
One of Fabien Maman's most successful creations (aside from his tuning fork techniques) has been his Tama-Do Sound Harmonizations®.
With natural acoustic musical instruments set up around the body in the order of his Cycle of Fifths for the Chakras®, Fabien Maman's Tama-Do Sound Harmonizations® link the 8 Chakras of the body with the 5 Elements. Faery Shaman Terres Unsoeld developed the Shamanique aspect of this work by adding elemental sounds that corresponded with the overtones in the Nature.
We begin this workshop by immersing ourselves in the 5 Elements of Nature. In this comprehensive sound healing course, we learn the basic principals of the Chinese 5 Elements and acupuncture. We learn point location and Fabien Maman's unique sound correspondences for the 12 main organs and acupuncture meridians of the body. Basic principals of tuning fork use on acupuncture points will be taught, as well as complete treatment protocol from assessing and evaluating an individual’s pulses, meridian, elemental and energetic imbalances to selecting the appropriate musical interval and color to re-establish balance.

Fabien Maman's research shows that the most effective way to ground the healing energies of sound and color in the physical body is through qi gong. In 1984 he channeled his first of 5 series of Tao Yin Fa®, his own form of qi gong, which works on all levels of consciousness. He called his work, Qi Gong of the Light®.
Tao Yin Fa Series II® works on the psychological/spiritual level. Meditative in nature, and simple to do, this Tai Chi-like movement works in the 8 Directions, which correspond to the Chakras and Subtle Energy Fields (Auras).

Temperaments of the Soul® is more deep than just the physical or the psychological aspect of the human being. There is no separation between earth and sky in this approach.

Fabien Maman’s basic healing paradigm is that sickness happens first in the energy field, and that we must clear this negative energy first before deep healing and regeneration can occur on the physical level.

Terres Unsoeld's Ethics of the Soul has been added to the Level I training, to help us to formulate "Who we are as a Soul", "What is our Mission?", and "What is our Moral Code of Conduct?" that will guide us through our life.
Fascinating and challenging, this course takes us through the basic concepts of the 10 Commandments, the Eightfold Path of the Yogas, the Buddhist Eigthfold Path, Terres Unsoeld's Shamanique Etiquette of the Light. We are asked to choose the path that best fits our Arrow of Destiny, according to our Noble Hero's Journey to the Light.
In preparation for the Level I Test, we will review TEP, Shu Points, Musical Spine and the 8 Qi Mo and as well as Tao Yin Fa Series I and II.
We will review how to link scanning in the Auric Fields with pulses on the organic level, and make a synthesis for diagnosis.
This course is required for those wishing to become a Tama-Do Certified Practitioner. It is recommended that you have completed most of your 50 practice sessions before doing the review.
