"When scientific research, spiritual practice and artistic expression work together, heaven and earth are in resonance. This is the vibratory promise that is the gift of our musical universe."
-- Fabien Maman
Fabien Maman, one of the world's leading vibrational sound healers, and founder of Tama-Do, The Academy of Sound, Color and Movement®, draws on sacred ancient Chinese, Greek and Indian traditions to perform his Seasonal Healing Concerts around the world.
These concerts go back in time to when the sacred arts were the foundation for music and healing. Since ancient times man has understood that special music and sounds are an expression of the prime Creator's universal tone.
Inspired by Chinese Medicine, Fabien has developed a system of correspondence between the elements, meridians, chakras, directions and stars and the musical key, mode, instrument, rhythm and energy of each season. When played, these acoustic sounds bring human beings, nature and the cosmos into healing harmony. The universal energy field becomes one.
According to the Chinese Five-Element Theory, the root of Chinese acupuncture, there are five elements which compose nature and human beings. These five elements, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, each resonate with a season, internal organs of the body, chakras and the eight extra-ordinary meridians.
Following ancient Chinese, Greek, Egyptian and Indian tradition, Fabien's Seasonal Healing Concerts use acoustic instruments that are tuned to the musical key, mode and energy of each season. Using classical Indian ragas and ancient modes based on Pentatonic scales, these concerts activate a different function in the body and the consciousness.
Special Chi movements are used to enhance the energy of the room. Color scarves help to call in the consciousness of the colors of the season. Two stars secure the link between earth and sky.
Musicians, singers and dancers play together in a grand holistic symphony.
The integration of elements are designed not only to harmonize the audience and performers within their own DNA, acupuncture meridians, organs, Chakras and energy fields, but also to harmonize within the greater expanding spiral of nature, the season, the stars, and the community.
The concert ends in a short intense meditation. Angel clapping offers chi with the hands while the audience sits in silence. This allows the vibration of the music to continue uninterrupted by the usual applause that typically follows at the end of a concert.
